There is a new ICO that has the word “scam” written all over it. The name of the ICO is IDAP and their website is IDAP.io. It claims that it will be offering users a single click trading interface to do cryptocurrency trading. In other words, IDAP will be an exchange.
Coincheck, a Japanese cryptocurrency exchange has announced that it will be delisting all pairs of privacy coins being traded on the exchange. This includes Monero, Zcash and Dash. Coincheck was bought by Monex, a brokerage firm that got infamous for the NEM hack where more than 530 million dollars worth of NEM were stolen. Coincheck has announced that it will no longer be supporting the aforementioned privacy cryptocurrencies.
Vertpig is a cryptocurrency exchange made by Vertcoin community member and it had to go down due to regulatory issues. While the VTC/GBP market is still down, the exchange is back with Euro support. The VTC/EUR pairing is open to everyone with the SEPA bank transfer. Their VTC/BTC and VTC/LTC market is back as well.
Ministry of industry and information technology, China has released public blockchain ratings and surprisingly, bitcoin is not #1 on the list. The top 5 coins are Ethereum, Steem, Lisk, Neo and KMD. This is followed by Stellar Lumens, Cardano, IOTA, Monero and Stratis. Bitcoin ranks #13, trailing behind Qtum and Bitshares.
Bithumb, one of the biggest exchanges from South Korea has listed four new coins/tokens on their website. This includes TenX(PAY), WAX(WAX), Power Ledger(POWR), Loopring(LRC) and Gifto(GTO). It has announced partnership with the Luxxeum coin, a decentralized digital payment system guaranteeing secured P2P transactions. It is the coin behind the blockchain powered E-commerce website where only mobile phones are sold. This website will bring phones from various brands and the company behind Luxxeum will also be launching its own branded mobile phone.
Retail investors can now buy the Ethereum Classic Investment Trust which means Ethereum Classic (ETC) can now be bought as an ETN (ticker ETCG), similar to way you can buy bitcoin thru GBTC. It looks like premium is 30-40% over current price of Ethereum Classic. This and GBTC are the only two publicly traded vehicles in cryptocurrency like this. Year from now who knows, how many cryptocurrencies will be available on OTC marketplace (OTCQX).

BTCPay Server has added support for Bitcoin Gold (BTG) in the latest update, v1.0.2.11. While it is not yet available in the docker, it will soon be enabled and people will be able to use Bitcoin Gold for making payments.
