Few days back, Charlie Lee captured world’s attention by doing the first litecoin-to-bitcoin atomic swap. Komodo team was also hard at work and they have just announced on their official twitter that they too have done successful atomic swaps by making use of only electrum servers. Litecoin to bitcoin swap was done using local coin daemon while the Komodo-bitcoin swap was done using hosted electrum nodes. For whatever reason, they did a Komodo / Dogecoin swap too.
Vertcoin has announced on twitter that they are going to release Vertcoin TOR wallet that will allow users to send transactions anonymously. This includes banned places as well. There is no concrete release date but it will likely to be released in two weeks from now. The wallet is said to be based on the Electrum wallet and connects to the network over a TOR proxy connection.

Yunbi is a top 40 exchange in China and it has been ordered to shut down permanently. An announcement has been posted on the Yunbi portal where it says that it must stop trading most pairs so withdraw Chinese Yuan and other digital currencies. Chinese government has released a list of whopping 60 ICOs that will be put up for investigation and monitoring. The letter issued by the government was sent to Chinese province of Fujian on September 2nd 2017 and it mentions issuing guidance to local government of Fujian. It demands report on ICOs, trading and exchange websites by September 4th 2017 which has already passed.
