OmiseGO team comments on 837,500 tokens transferred to exchanges

Three days back, a reddit user spotted more than $5M worth of OMG tokens being transferred to cryptocurrency exchanges by OmiseGO key contributors. This obviously did not go well with the community as it looked like the contributors were preparing for the market to fall further. OmiseGO team came out today and addressed the issue even though the movement of those OMG tokens does not belong to them.

People always complain about cryptocurrency exchanges. No exchange is perfect but there is one exchange that is in the lime light lately and getting a lot of ‘smack’ from people. It’s HitBTC. Several have been complaining about inability to withdraw their funds from the exchange. One user had to be wait for full four months and several tickets just to get his funds withdrawn from the exchange.

FLO, FLDC, XVC, BCY, NXC, RADS, BLK, PINK and RIC delisted from Poloniex

Popular cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex has announced that on August 2nd 2018 UTC +0, it will delist a number of currencies from its exchange. This includes FLO, FLDC, XVC, BCY, NXC, RADS, BLK, PINK and RIC. Users have been told to finalize all trades and close any positions in these assets prior to August 2nd. Keep in mind that once these cryptocurrencies are delisted, you will only be able to withdraw them but that too till September 2nd – no more than that.
