Decentrex shutting down on 30 December 2017: How to withdraw tokens / Ethereum from Decentrex
Decentrex, a fork of EtherDelta will be closing its doors forever on 30th December 2017. For many, Decentrex was EtherDelta clone with better user interface but due to low volume, low traffic and high Ethereum network fees, Decentrex has decided to shutdown. So if you have tokens and Ethereum stored on Decentrex, withdraw them as soon as possible. It is possible to withdraw the tokens after 30th December as well by using Decentrex’s smart contract ABI on MyEtherWallet.

* Press the ACCESS button
* You can access smart contract functions like check balance, withdraw, withdrawToken.
* Pick “withdraw” contract function to withdraw ETH or pick “withdrawToken” to withdraw any token.
* Specify the amount in wei – 1 ETH = 1000000000000000000 wei, for tokens specify the token smart contract address and token amount.
* Select your Ethereum account private keys and click the “WRITE” button to perform smart contract function. You can adjust gas price before performing any smart contract function.
It is definitely sad to see Decentrex go. It was a well designed decentralized cryptocurrency exchange for trading ERC20 tokens. Fortunately, there are many EtherDelta clones that offer better user experience with better UI and support. UbiTok.io is one such example.
EtherDelta was hacked recently and got a lot of heat in not notifying its host about the hack. This was the perfect opportunity for its forks to step up their marketing and lure users to their exchanges.
