BNB stolen from Trust wallet, Metamask – Panther AI stealing BNB

A lot of users are complaining about BNB being silently stolen. One of our team members also had his BNB stolen, less than $10. During our research, we found that all of stolen BNB from multiple user accounts was being sent to Panther AI wallet. 

Around an year back, they launched an airdrop where all users had to do was attach their BNB wallets to the Panther AI app on their website which granted them a backdoor to the wallets. 

Literally, none of the users, including Crypto Coin Daddy’s writer read what permissions were being granted to their web app. 

For the entire year, they did nothing and one find day, the nasty folks at Panther AI drained BNB from all the wallets that had connected to their web app. 

What we should have done? We should have revoked their access to their web app. In fact, you should be revoking access to any app that you are not familiar with. 

In the trust wallet, to revoke access, go to Settings > Security > Approvals and remove all approvals. We suggest starting afresh to make sure nobody can drain your wallet while you are sleeping or not using it.
