CoinEx Exchange ceases operations

CoinEx has made an important announcement that the crypto exchange will soon be ceasing operations very soon. Trading will continue as usual till 15th of September but all trading including spot will cease operations on 22nd. On 29th, all spot trading services will be ceased, and non-USDT assets will be processed.

Starting from September 15, 2026, the platform will gradually cease services according to the schedule.

CoinEx maintains an asset reserve ratio of over 100%. All user assets are fully backed and available for withdrawal in full. Withdrawal channels will remain open until December 22, 2026 (UTC+8). After this date, withdrawals will not be allowed.

Users must withdraw USDT within the 90-day withdrawal period, which ends on December 22, 2026. A difficult decision, but an orderly wind-down with withdrawals remaining open until December 22 is far better than users being locked out of their funds.

This announcement does not mean CoinEx Wallet will face any issue. CoinEx Wallet and CoinEx Vault operate independently of the exchange and are unaffected by the wind-down. Both services remain fully operational and available for normal use. Respect to the CoinEx team for choosing transparency and an orderly transition.
