Dash coin delisted from Bittrex cryptocurrency exchange
Popular privacy cryptocurrency coin, Dash will be delisted and all of its trading pairs will be removed from Bittrex cryptocurrency exchange in two weeks from now. Other privacy coins, Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC) will also be removed.
Privacy coins are being discouraged on US cryptocurrency exchanges. Just couple of months back, Changelly also delisted Dash, Monero and Zcash so removal from Bittrex exchange is not that surprising. Many crypto experts saw this coming.
We are also expecting other US based cryptocurrency exchanges, including Coinbase, Kraken and Binance US to follow the suit.
Dash’s prime focus was on privacy and only in recent months, Dash’s DAO started mentioning on social media that it was a privacy coin as they did saw this coming.
Binance Australia has already banned Dash, PivX, Monero, Zcash, Zcoin from trading. CEX.io delisted both Zcash and Dash back in 2019. CEX.io is also a US-based cryptocurrency exchange.
All three coins have taken a massive nose dive in terms of price. Even though most will continue to trade these coins on non-US exchanges, surprise announcements like these appear to have a ripple effect as creates doubts and suspicion in minds of traders.
10/ Dash’s PrivateSend feature is simply a branded implementation of non-custodial CoinJoin. Don’t take my word for it… industry leading experts like Chainalysis and Perkins Coie agree.

Privacy cryptocurrencies are often used by criminals to hide their money from governments and police which is why they have come under the scanner by US government.
