CoinWorld stops operating applications and websites – CoinWorld China Ban

Largest cryptocurrency content community in China, CoinWorld announced it would stop operating apps and websites. This is clearly Chinese government step in cracking down media and communities that are involved in cryptocurrency business and news media.

According to Jiemian, all the apps and websites are ordered to stop operating with immediate effect. This means that the services are already inaccessible.

Chinese government is going after anything and everything related to blockchain and cryptocurrency in China. Just yesterday, Binance Launchpad was made inaccessible in China, while it remained available in every single other country.

Last month, Weibo blocked all KOL accounts related to cryptocurrency to prevent people to even get bitcoin / cryptocurrency information in China.

Earlier this week, Huobi China banned Chinese users to use derivative trading on its exchange. And of course, bitcoin mining is already banned in China with its government cracking down on BTC mining operations in Yunnan and other parts. A lot of mining equipment is being seized and this has forced miners to move to other parts of world.

Stopping CoinWorld is huge as it was the biggest news and information provider in China. Fortunately, Crypto Coin Daddy is still accessible.
