Bitcoin Price targets for 2025 by Peter Brandt
Peter Brandt is a well known trader that has pretty strong views about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Yesterday, he posted a tweet on X suggesting that most of the gains in bitcoin cycle come post halving.
The price action since March of 2024 has been pretty much stagnant, with price ranging between $50000 and $73000. He says the final price target remains at $135,000 which will be achieved in August or September of 2025.
He adds that if the price falls below $48000, the chart he posted would be pointless. It would also mean that this time, it is actually different from previous bitcoin cycles.
One user replied that his targets were bearish, but we feel the opposite – unlike all previous cycles where Bitcoin never goes up previous all-time-highs, this time, Bitcoin made a new all time high of $73000. So, it is already different and we think Bitcoin will top out between $85000 and $90000.
Why so bearish?

That said, Peter also believes that diminishing returns are a thing. He adds, “younger generations all believe bitcoin is their savior and conventional wisdom never really pays off.”
