PivX Core Wallet 3.0.6 solves sync issues and other bugs
PivX Core wallet v3.0.6 has been released that brings myriad bug fixes and stability enhancements. While it is not a mandatory upgrade if you are already running 3.0.5.1 but is recommended to upgrade to keep everything up to date with core updates. Several users were complaining about wallet syncing problems and this update is meant to solve those issues. How to Update to this version? First, gracefully exit/stop the current wallet from the wallet. (File – Exit or ./pivx-cli stop).
Download and install the new wallet appropriate for your OS.
Linux/Rpi: Overwrite the existing executable files with the newly downloaded wallet binaries.
Windows: Install via the setup executable file and run through the setup wizard to install.
Mac OSX: Download .dmg file, open .dmg then drag PIVX icon to the applications folder icon.
Re-start the wallet. (Launch from your PIVX shortcut icon or ./pivxd for linux). Keep in mind only 90 percent of total coins are staking as rest are auto-converted to zPiv. You can turn this feature off by adding enablezeromint=0 to the pivx.conf file.
Upgrading to this new wallet will not cause any issues with the coins stored previously. If you get into any trouble, you can always get in touch with the PivX support.
