Trezor phishing website results in loss of life savings
Google is being held responsible for mass scale fraud by promoting phishing on real websites. Even though the phishing link is marked as a sponsored result, a person in distress may not even notice it and gives away their 24-word passphrase, that results in a complete loss of funds.

While the Trezor has responded fast and is already working with Google to get the website removed. The website in question was forwarding users to a fake website that looked legit since it’s hosted on Google Sites.

Some critics have blamed Google for profiting from this and turning a blind eye towards these scams.
If you still search for “trezor wallet,” the first result is the phishing website in question.
Right now, the funds have been moved to the following address that has 0.03973 BTC, which amounts to around 2600 dollars at the time of this post ($65000/bc).
I've been saying this for years GOOGLE should be liable for ALL damages in FULL of all obvious crypto scams, it's a joke! 0 Due diligence

The worrisome part is that the owner of a phishing website has stolen more than $1.5M dollars so far. This is disgusting, and we hope he rots in hell. Some people learn about scam sites by reading basic security advice, others learn by losing all their money. But everyone learns in the end.
