Megasoft brings crypto payments to 20000 retailers in Venezuela

Megasoft is a Venezuelan company that will bringing support for cryptocurrencies to more than 20000 retailers in Venezuela. It offers POS solutions to retailers in Venezuela. Recently, they have announced an alliance with Cryptobuyer and will offer a way of paying with cryptos using the POS.

This has already been confirmed to be working in Traki, a department store in Venezuela. Supported crypto currencies include Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, Dash, USDT, DAI and Crypto buyer’s XPT token.

Nicolás Maduro, president of Venezuela, seems to have relaxed norms in Venezuela ever since fall of Venezuelan Bolivar. This could be the reasons crypto currencies are getting so popular in Venezuela. To give you an idea, more than 500 BTC was traded on LocalBitcoins portal last week.

More than 100,000 merchants are expected to join the Crypto buyer’s Pay network before end of 2020 which will only further fuel crypto currency adoption in the country of Venezuela.

Jorge Farías, CEO of Crypto buyer said, “this is a positive scenario for new technologies where we see how “a professional company with more than 30 years in the market sees a real incentive to accept crypto currencies as a new form of payment.”
