Poloniex delists Vertcoin, Viacoin and DigiByte
Poloniex cryptocurrency exchange has announced on their website that they will be delisting Vertcoin, Viacoin, Digibyte and some other coins.
While we already knew about Digibyte delisting by Poloniex, Vertcoin (VTC) and Viacoin (VIA) was a surprise to many since both cryptocurrencies are more than three years old.
Other coins that will be delisted includes Factom, PrimeCoin and Omni.
Interestingly, Vertcoin has not tweeted about their delisting from Poloniex to its twitter followers.
And, let us not even talk about Viacoin that has been tweeted any tweet since October 30th 2019.
Here is what the official announcement says.
We will soon disable markets for the following assets in preparation for delisting from Poloniex: DigiByte (DGB), Factom (FCT), MaidSafeCoin (MAID), Omni (OMNI), Primecoin (XPM), Vertcoin (VTC), and Viacoin (VIA).
Important dates:
December 30th, 2019 at 17:00 UTC: Markets for each of these assets will be disabled
January 30th, 2020 at 17:00 UTC: Withdrawals of these assets will continue to be supported until January 30th, 2020 at which point the wallets will be permanently disabled. Please be sure to withdraw any assets listed above before this date.
Make sure to get your funds out on time or convert them to BTC/ETH if you wish to keep them on the exchange.
