Bittrex Account Disabled, Suspended or Banned? Clarification by Bittrex on disabled accounts
Bittrex is one of the most popular crypto currency exchanges and lately got into a lot of heat for banning and disabling accounts on a lot of users. Bittrex has issued an official report on this saying that the cryptocurrency exchange often does compliance reviews to protect their service and prevent their users from harm. In this review, they temporarily suspend / disable / ban certain accounts. The total number of accounts were not revealed but less than 0.1 percent were affected.
Bittrex’s support further adds that any reports that claim that they miscalculated or misapplied their exchange fees or that the Bittrex is banning people that are trying to access their Slack are incorrect.
It is great to see Bittrex coming out and explaining why the accounts were disabled or suspended. It is clear that they want to make the crypto currency world a safe and do not want to end up like Btc-E whose administrator was arrested for money laundering. There are a lot of bad people in the crypto community who use cryptocurrencies for doing money laundering.
Few months back, BTC-E, another popular crypto currency trading website was taken offline as it was being used for money laundering and other illegal activities. Bittrex clearly does not want to end up like that.
0.1%. Some days ago they said 0.001%. Why are they not able to answer those few support tickets? Five days. Five. Not a single word from support.
2 weeks past and no response for my requests for disabled account what kind of protection is that, its done they simply stole my money, i hope they spend it on medicine
they are scam
my account is disabled more than 19 days
not a single response
they banned my account about 1 month..
and not answer me..
they are actually scam …
