Poloniex cryptocurrency exchange has announced on their website that they will be delisting Vertcoin, Viacoin, Digibyte and some other coins.
On April 24th 2019, LiteBit.eu will be delisting five coins from its exchange. The most popular one amongst them is Vertcoin (VTC) which faced 51 percent attack few months back and made exchanges loose a lot of money. Other four coins are Breakout, Breakout Stake (BRX), Revolution VR (RVR) and Pinkcoin (PINK).

Vertpig started as a platform that allowed users to buy Vertcoin using fiat money easily. Over the past few months, the cryptocurrency exchange started offering many more coins on their website and thus, the name “Vertpig” needed to change.
Back in October, the Vertpig was taken offline due to uncompleted swaps that failed to pay out. In late November, it was back up running after solving all the problems.
Vertpig was closed in October after getting its main wallet hacked but few days back, its team was able to get it back online. So, not only they got back but have been busy adding a lot of new coins to the exchange to attract more and more users. Today, they have added two very popular coins – Ravencoin and Dogecoin.
Groestlcoin team has made the decision to go accept the new ASIC, Baikal BK-G28 that supports their Groestl algorithm. While they are keeping the algorithm security as a top priority, embracing ASIC’s is a slippery slope.
