Stellar Lumens support added to US MCO Visa Card

Stellar Lumens support was added on Crypto.com last year in month of June but US MCO Visa card holders were not able to use Stellar (XLM) for making their purchases.

Well, today, Crypto.com has extended support to Stellar as well bringing total to eight supported cryptocurrencies. This includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, PAX, TUSD, EOS and now XLM.

Supported US states include Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma,  Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. That is total of 38 states.

Keep in mind that MCO Visa card is a debit card so you basically sell your crypto that is then used as balance on your card.

It does makes using cryptocurrencies in real world way easier though as everything can be done from the Crypto.com app itself. Crypto.com has solid reputation as well.

Also interesting to see Monaco (MCO) token that runs on Ethereum blockchain is not supported though. However, you would need certain amount of Monaco to reserve your MCO Visa card so it does have little utility.
